This is a desperate call for somebody thats good with sound cleaning.

I managed to digitalize a Mix I recorded from a radio show around 20 years ago.
As I was removing the cassette from the player, it fell apart. Yes, it had been well used over the years.

Now this recording, being that old, and from cassette, is not the best,
and I have an 80's party coming up, and this is one of the tracks I wanted to use.

I tried to restore it myself using various programs, but I couldn't get a result that sounded good.
But that's probably just me and my usless skills with those programs.
So I decided to ask here for help. So PLEASE, if anyone can get a good result, please let me know.

Here's a link to the Mix, I have converted it with LAME to a 320kb/s mp3 and zipped it.
Sigue_Sigue_Mix.zip (http://www.interceptor-one.com/Sigue_Sigue_Mix.zip)

But, make no mistake, this will be a tough one.
I'd be VERY thankful for any help with this one.

Whats the title and artist of the mix or is it one of those custom radio ones?

There are several artists/titles, and just for good measure, some movie dialogue thrown in there too.

Ah, so no way of downloading it then. :(

Nope, if there was, I wouldn't have even posted asking.

Unfortunately, it IS a one-of-a-kind...

It might be possible to copy the mix in a program like Magix Music Maker or one of those multi-track things,
the problem with that is finding the original samples and music.

Problem solved.

Apparently this was not really one-of-a-kind.
The Sigue Sigue Sputnik part was not released to public, but was sold to Professional DJ's as a so-called promo.
So while it is not one-of-a-kind, it IS extremely rare.
But thanks to somebody from an audio forum, I now have a clean lossless copy of it.

The only thing is, the mix I had posted is longer and has other stuff mixed with it.
But maybe with the clean copy I can re-create the Mix.
