G13 'stutter'

I just got the G13 and while playing Team fortresss classic (that's how I roll), there is a noticeable stutterevery 30 secs or so. It happens while moving forward (w key) and lasts maybe 1/4 second, but it's enough to throw off my timing due to the random nature.

Any idea what could be causing this?
