Scripts won't work for me

Exactly what the title says. I've taken a look at a couple of scripts here on these boards and one on another forum and I just can't seem to get them to work at all.

I copy/paste/save exactly as has been suggested. I assign "Script" to the appropriate keys and yet when I get in-game...nothing.

I'm playing Darkfall with a G13/G15/G5 setup. Anyone have any thoughts?

Are you importing the scripts on the correct profile, and is the correct profile loading when you run the game?

If you import the script into the 'default profile' profile and a different profile loads with your game, then nothing will happen.

If you're importing the script into your game's profile and the profile isn't loading correctly, then nothing will happen.

For a lot of scripts, if you're using an older version of the driver, nothing will happen.

Make sure you're not appending your scripts (in other words, you should replace all text with the complete script rather than pasting after anything that's already in the editor... or nothing will happen.

To clarify:

To use a script for Battlefield 2, I would open the profiler and select Battlefield 2 from the drop-down list. I would then open the script editor, import the script, then save it and close the script editor. I then assign the correct G-keys as script, and close the profiler.

Now I load Battlefield 2. As it executes, the LCD panel reads "profile activated: Battlefield 2".

Please use this example to further your diagnostics, or get back with more detail; what scripts are you trying, what profiles are you using them on, and are the profiles loading correctly? Do your other G-key assignments still work in the game?

It was not loading the profile properly. It's a long story but the executable changed when I transferred from the EU to NA servers and forgot to change it in my settings.
