Hey there, new to the forum and found this place while browsing for a solution to my G13 issues! I just picked up a G13 this week and was hoping to use it to create macros for characters like the engineer and spy in Team Fortress 2 so I could bypass the menus and quickly either set up items (with an Engi profile) or change appearance (Spy profile) with a single keystroke. Not sure what exactly to do to accomplish that as I thought I was doing it correctly but when I tried it in-game it was clearly not working as I intended. Here's what I was doing, tell me if I missed something:

(for this one I am trying to do a shortcut to the Engineer creating a sentry)
- Start G-Series Key Profiler
- Click the G1 key and select Assign Macro
- Create New Macro
- Click Start Recording
- Type in the following: "4" "Enter" "1" "Enter" (obviously not with quotations ;))
- Click Stop Recording

I've tried it both with "Record delays between events" checked and unchecked and it doesn't seem to want to work? :confused: Normally in-game you can press that and it would work but maybe I am just missing something simple here? I have the profile mapped to TF2 and the other non-macro'd keys work (I have G4/G10/G11/G12 set up as W/A/S/D, respectively) so I know the profile is loaded and it showed it was loaded on the LCD as well. Could someone hook me up and explain what I'm doing wrong and what I could do to fix it? Thanks in advance folks! :D

Hey man welcome to the forums. Congrats on your most excellent device purchase.

I have a solution for your problem. When you are creating the macro, start recording with delays enabled.

The normal key registry for that function would be "4, 1, Left Click"

Start recording and press 4 then 1. Stop recording here.

Right click underneath the recorded keys and select insert delay.

Right click again and insert mouse event > left button > click

It wont work without the delay I tested it a few minutes ago.

Have fun!

<edit>
The reason it wasn't working before was you were using enter. Unless you bind enter to shoot that wouldn't work because left click is shoot.
