I wouldn't recommend combining the colour cycle script with any other script (including macros as those use the same thread I think).
I guess you chose a repeat option in the profiler, did you pick hold or toggle?
And if not, how did you manage to make it repeat?

Toggle is fine, unless you want the script to only run while you hold the G button.
To get the old script back, simply open the script editor and delete the part you pasted in for the colour cycle script.

Just a quick note:
Macros are not affected by scripts - they run in their own threads. Multiple macros can be run consecutively, while macros called from a script can only be executed one at a time (as they run in a single thread), even though the script can continue executing meanwhile.
By default, no script is included in any profile (just the function declaration for OnEvent() - the main event handler for script-trigger events).
As for the colour cycle script - if you have the latest software (from the Logitech site) and you follow the instructions, all should be well. Just in case, check out posts #21 and #24 in the colour cycler thread for further instructions. ;)

this used to happen to my keyboard too. Unistall all of it's drivers then go to logitech's website and download its drivers
http://www.logitech.com/en-ca/434/4956?section=downloads&bit=&osid=14&selectedFile=0
When you install the drivers make sure to make sure the usb plug isnt in the computer. Afterwards it should be good thats what happened to me
