I have two problems with my G19-keyboard which I bought.
When I hit certain keys fast, like the 'W' key, all the key presses doesn't register. E.g. I hit 'W' fast 3 times, and it writes "WW" or only "W". If i hit 'W' fast many times, it writes about 2 'W's and then halts for a moment, and then it writes 'W's like I'd be holding the 'W' key down.
When the G19-keyboard is connected to the power supply, which is connected to the power network, and the PC is turned off, the power supply gives of a noticeable electronic noise, loud enough to disturb my sleep. To work around this, I have to disconnect the keyboard to the power supply every night.
Are these problems normal? Can they be solved?
I have gone to the store and got a new G19-keyboard, but it's the same problem with this one. So, because I'm very curious, could you try hitting 'W' fast 3 or 4 times and see how many are registered?

It works fine for me, every W press works the exact moment I hit it at the maximum speed I can hit it.
Also, I have my G19 plugged into a standby killer thing so the power supply automatically turns off when my computer is off (along with my monitor and speakers). So I have no idea about any noise it would make. Have you tried switching the plug with another socket? Where ever you plug it in, might be a bad socket that causes the noise. Rather then the power supply.
Are you sure your computer can handle it? The G19 isn't you average keyboard as it needs to control the LCD and G keys.
Do you have the keyboard in an USB2.0 port? As the keyboard might not be able to handle all data over a slower USB port.

I've verified that all of my USB-ports are 2.0. I've tried to connect the keyboard to the other ports, but the problem remained. I've disconnected all of my other USB-devices but the keyboard, but the problem remained. I've followed the troubleshooter in Windows XP, but the problem remains.
I've also tried to connect the power supply to another socket, where it was also the only device connected, but it still emitted an electronic sound.
I tried the keyboard on another computer, and the problem still remained. And I've also tried the keyboard in BIOS, where Windows hasn't loaded any drivers, but the problem still remained.
At the time at which the problem occurs, the processor usage is unaffected(<5%).
I've tried pressing 'W' fast on other keyboards too, and there is no problem there, so it isn't just me.
I tried pressing 'W' several times while recording a macro, this is what was registered:
W down
0.062 sec. delay
W up
0.031 sec. delay
W down
1.063 sec. delay
W up
I swear I pressed it more than 7 times, with equal delay between the presses.
Could this be a design flaw with the swedish layout of the G19-keyboards?

I personally have an US layout keyboard with european plug for the adapter. (netherlands, US layout is standard here)
If you have a different type adapter, it could be a design flaw in that specific adapter.
I don't think the layout really matters unless your W is somewhere else I am I just pressing a working button. I guess the matrix (guts of the keyboard) isn't different. Just the keys on it (which are pieces of plastic)

i can confirm that no matter how fast i bang the W key, it registers every single hit.
also, the power supply makes no noise that i can detect, but i am in an office, so that doesn't mean much.
